Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


• Manage and supervise the daily operations of the bell desk, including the activities of bellpersons and porters.


• Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, assisting with luggage handling and ensuring a seamless check-in experience.


• Maintain a high level of guest service by training, mentoring, and motivating the bell desk team to exceed guest expectations.


• Coordinate closely with front office, concierge, and housekeeping departments to ensure efficient guest service delivery.


• Monitor lobby and entrance areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to hotel standards.


• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly and effectively, demonstrating a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.


• Oversee luggage storage and retrieval processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.


• Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to assist guests with recommendations and information.





Requirements:


• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment, preferably within the InterContinental Hotels Group.


• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.


• Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
