Position Title: Counsellor TMS (The Millennium School)

Reports to: Management TMS (The Millennium School)

The School Counsellor is an integral member of the school community, responsible for promoting students' academic, personal, and social development. The counsellor will provide support through individual and group counselling, classroom guidance, and crisis intervention. He/she will collaborate with teachers, parents, and community resources to create a nurturing environment that fosters student growth and success. The counsellor will be required to plan, view report, and discuss one on one with the parent and the student the result of the psychometric assessment for students in Gr VIII-XII. The sessions with students and parents will be conducted online.
Responsibilities:
• Inspecting students' career-related aspirations, concerns, and uncertainties throughout the consultation process.
• Reviewing students' personal and educational undertakings and how the manifestation of these might inform their prospective job-related choices.
• Guiding students through the completion of aptitude, personality, and adjacent tests.
• Scoring students' responses to pertinent items and conferring with them about the results of these.
• Proposing career-related options that are congruent with your substantiated insights.
• Informing students about potential shortcomings in their skill sets and devising strategies to remedy these.
• Walking students through the process of compiling and restructuring their resumes.
• Pinpointing and informing students of potentially helpful career-related opportunities.
• Provide personalized counselling and crisis support to address students' academic, social, and emotional challenges, implementing programs to enhance emotional intelligence and well-being.
• Conduct career counselling for students using tools and Multiple Intelligence tests, offering personalized guidance for career exploration, portfolio building, and college readiness.
• Lead student-driven social service initiatives, promoting leadership, civic responsibility, and collaboration.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in MA Psychology
• Certificate course in Career counselling as an added advantage.
• Demonstrable history of displaying excellent clinical judgment.
• Knowledgeable about ever-changing trends across all dominant industries.
• Familiarity with obscure yet accessible job opportunities.
• Outstanding people skills.
• Top-notch investigative, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to equip all students to enter their preferred disciplines.

Pay: ?450,000.00 - ?900,000.00 per year
