Job Summary:

JOB TYPE : Full time

A BDS doctor provides comprehensive dental care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of oral health issues. They work to maintain and restore oral health by performing a variety of procedures and educating patients on dental hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
• Conduct thorough oral examinations and assessments.
• Diagnose dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and bridges.
• Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Clinical Procedures:
• Administer local anesthesia for pain management.
• Use diagnostic tools like X-rays and digital imaging to assess dental conditions.
• Perform surgical procedures for complex cases, such as tooth extractions or gum surgeries.
• Manage and treat dental emergencies.
• Patient Management:
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns and explain treatment options.
• Ensure patient comfort and address any issues related to dental procedures.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate with specialists for complex cases requiring additional expertise.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in dental techniques and technology.
• Administrative Duties:
• Manage appointments and scheduling for patients.
• Oversee inventory and ordering of dental supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
• Community Involvement:
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote oral health awareness.
• Offer educational workshops or presentations on dental hygiene and preventive care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
