Job Description

In a dental clinic, their duties include:

1. Patient Diagnosis and Treatment Planning

• Examinations: Conducting thorough oral health assessments, including the teeth, gums, and surrounding tissues.
• Diagnosis: Identifying conditions such as cavities, gum disease, oral infections, or oral cancer.
• Treatment Plans: Developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the patient's needs.

2. Performing Dental Procedures

• Restorative Care: Filling cavities, repairing fractured teeth, and placing crowns or bridges.
• Surgical Procedures: Performing tooth extractions, gum surgery, and other minor oral surgeries.
• Cosmetic Dentistry: Providing treatments like teeth whitening, veneers, or reshaping teeth for aesthetic purposes.
• Emergency Care: Treating dental emergencies such as abscesses, broken teeth, or severe pain.

3. Educating Patients

• Oral Hygiene Advice: Teaching patients proper brushing, flossing, and dietary habits.
• Preventive Care: Explaining the importance of regular dental check-ups and cleanings.
• Post-Treatment Guidance: Providing instructions for recovery after dental procedures.

4. Supervising Clinical Operations

• Team Management: Overseeing the work of dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff.
• Sterilization Protocols: Ensuring all tools and equipment meet sterilization and infection control standards.
• Clinical Decision-Making: Addressing complex cases or unexpected issues during procedures.

5. Administrative Responsibilities

• Patient Records: Maintaining accurate and detailed patient files.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
