Job Title: Senior Business Development Executive (Senior BDE)

Role Overview:
As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will play a dual role of managing and mentoring a team of Business Development Executives while driving your own sales performance. You will work closely with IT professionals, guiding them toward courses that align with their career aspirations, and ensure your team meets organizational sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management:
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Business Development Executives to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
• Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct regular training sessions.
• Address team queries and resolve challenges effectively to ensure smooth operations.
• Sales and Lead Generation:
• Personally engage in outbound calls to IT professionals, understand their upskilling needs, and guide them toward appropriate courses.
• Handle high-value leads, provide detailed course counselling, and close deals to meet personal sales targets.
• Strategy and Planning:
• Work closely with the management to develop and implement sales strategies and action plans.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior and team performance to optimize sales processes.
• Prepare and present regular reports on team and individual performance metrics.
• Customer Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with IT professionals to foster trust and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Address escalations and provide advanced solutions to close deals effectively.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: Any graduate or postgraduate with a passion for sales and team management in the EdTech domain.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a BDE in an EdTech firm. Prior team management experience is an added advantage.
• Skills:
• Proven expertise in selling courses to working professionals, especially in the IT sector.
• Exceptional communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on goal orientation and problem-solving.
• High emotional intelligence to understand customer and team needs effectively.
• Location: Willingness to commute or relocate to Electronic City, Bangalore .
