Join us in shaping the future of technology and engineering solutions on a global scale.Position SummaryPosition Summary and LocationThe Base Manager in Kakinada will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all base operations, ensuring smooth crew changes, material management, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. This role is vital to maintaining operational efficiency and supporting Oceaneerings mission of delivering high-quality services.Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel domestically and overseas up to 20% of the year, on requirement basis.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilitiesxc2xb7 Crew Change Management: Oversee crew changes, including immigration and customs clearance, and transportation.xc2xb7 Crew Health Management: Handle medical emergencies and routine offshore medical needs.xc2xb7 Material Management: Supervise material supply, maintenance, repair, and fabrication.xc2xb7 Material Disposal: Manage the scrapping of materials.xc2xb7 Staff House Management: Handle staff house hiring, taking over, handing over, maintenance, food, upkeep of staff house and surroundings, and staff management.xc2xb7 Local Authority Liaison: Deal with local authorities such as customs, police, and local politicians.xc2xb7 Visitor Management: Take care of visitors.xc2xb7 Audit Management: Ensure compliance with ISO and local audit requirements.xc2xb7 HSE Compliance: Undertake HSE drills and fulfill all HSE and audit requirements.xc2xb7 Repair Coordination: Coordinate repairs with the Chandigarh team.xc2xb7 Crew Training: Oversee crew training programs.xc2xb7 Third-Party Staff Management: Manage Oceaneering and third-party staff.xc2xb7 Financial Management: Handle local monthly expenses and file returns.xc2xb7 Vehicle Management: Look after vehicles on lease and local hiring of vehicles as required.xc2xb7 Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency response plans and procedures.xc2xb7 Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.Reporting RelationshipRegional Account Lead xe2x80x93 INDIAQualificationsQualificationsRequired:xc2xb7 Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.xc2xb7 Minimum of 5 years of experience in base management or a similar role.xc2xb7 Strong leadership and team management skills.xc2xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.xc2xb7 Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.xc2xb7 Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements.Desired:xc2xb7 Experience in the oil and gas industry.xc2xb7 Familiarity with ISO standards and HSE regulations.xc2xb7 Proficiency in local languages.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristicsxc2xb7 Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.xc2xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.xc2xb7 High level of integrity and professionalismClosing StatementWorking ConditionsThis position is considered Constant work.Career DevelopmentCareer DevelopmentIn addition, we make a priority of providing learning and development opportunities to enable employees to achieve their potential and take charge of their future.
