We are an upcoming seafood and cocktail lounge in the heart of Panaji, inspired by the rich traditions of Goan and Portuguese cuisine, paired with the soulful ambiance of a Fado jazz lounge. Our focus is on crafting exceptional cocktails and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy live music and outstanding food. Open Positions: 1. Bartender: Key Responsibilities: - Craft a wide range of cocktails, with a focus on classic and signature drinks. - Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests and offering drink recommendations. - Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools and ingredients are properly stocked. - Monitor and manage inventory, placing orders as needed. - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to create food and drink pairings. - Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards. - Assist in training and mentoring junior bar staff. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a bartender in a high-end or busy environment. - Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, and cocktail creation. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with poise. - Passion for creating unique and memorable guest experiences. 2. Barback: Key Responsibilities: - Support the bartenders by ensuring they have everything they need for smooth service. - Stock the bar with necessary supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and ingredients. - Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing and storing glassware. - Assist with inventory management, including restocking and rotating supplies. - Perform basic prep work for cocktails, such as cutting garnishes and preparing mixers. - Help with closing duties, ensuring the bar is ready for the next day's service. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a barback or similar role is preferred but not required. - Strong work ethic, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently. - Willingness to learn and assist wherever needed. - Good communication skills and a positive attitude. - Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as kegs and boxes of supplies.
