Key ResponsibilitiesCraft Cocktail Preparation

• Create and serve a variety of craft cocktails using fresh ingredients, house-made syrups, and innovative techniques.
• Develop new cocktail recipes and contribute to the bar's menu, staying up-to-date with mixology trends.
• Follow precise measurements and recipes to maintain consistency in drinks.

Customer Service

• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and make personalized recommendations.
• Provide an exceptional guest experience by maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and courteously.

Bar Operations

• Set up the bar before service, ensuring all tools, ingredients, and glassware are ready.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory during shifts, including spirits, mixers, and garnishes.
• Close down the bar by cleaning tools, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring everything is stored properly.

Knowledge of Products

• Possess in-depth knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail-making techniques.
• Educate customers about the origins, flavors, and preparation methods of craft cocktails.
• Keep up with industry trends, including sustainable practices, seasonal ingredients, and new cocktail techniques.

Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
• Assist with ordering and receiving bar supplies and ingredients.
• Ensure minimal waste by following portion control and inventory best practices.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food and beverage handling procedures.
• Ensure adherence to liquor licensing laws and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to meet hygiene standards.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with other bartenders, barbacks, and servers to ensure seamless service.
• Train and mentor junior staff or barbacks on craft cocktail techniques and bar operations.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team for paired menu options or special requests.

Special Events

• Participate in and contribute to special events, such as cocktail workshops, tasting nights, or private parties.
• Represent the bar's brand at external events or competitions when required.
