Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and creative Mocktail Bartender to join our team at Cafe De Soleil, a lively Indian cafe. The Mocktail Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of cocktails, maintaining a clean and inviting bar area, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a passion for mixology, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mocktail Preparation:
• Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, including classic, contemporary, and signature drinks.
• Create new and innovative cocktail recipes in line with the cafe's theme.
• Ensure all cocktails are made with precision and consistency in taste and presentation.
• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
• Take customer orders accurately and handle transactions at the bar.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Menu Knowledge:
• Be knowledgeable about the cafe's beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Offer recommendations to customers based on their preferences and dietary needs.
• Bar Maintenance:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Ensure all bar equipment and tools are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Monitor and restock bar supplies, including mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with training new staff members as required.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure all beverages meet quality standards before serving.
• Conduct regular checks on stock levels and order supplies as needed to maintain inventory.
• Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Mocktail Bartender or in a similar role preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation techniques.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in bartending or mixology is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 10-15 kg.
• Manual dexterity to operate bar tools and equipment.
