Job Description

A bartender has a variety of key responsibilities, including:

Preparing and Serving Drinks:

Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.

Customer Service:

Greeting customers, taking drink orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Maintaining the Bar Area:

Keeping the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked. This includes cleaning glasses, washing utensils, and restocking supplies as needed.

Handling Payments:

Processing customer payments, giving change, and sometimes operating the register or point-of-sale system.

Monitoring Alcohol Consumption:

Ensuring that patrons drink responsibly by watching for signs of intoxication and refusing service when necessary.

Managing Inventory:

Keeping track of stock levels for liquor, mixers, and other supplies, and notifying management when it's time to reorder.

Creating Cocktails and Specialty Drinks:

Using knowledge of drink recipes to create both standard and custom drinks based on customer preferences.

Setting Up and Closing the Bar:

Setting up the bar before opening hours and ensuring it is cleaned and secured after closing.

Complying with Legal Requirements:

Following local laws and regulations regarding alcohol service, including checking IDs to verify the legal drinking age.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
