Job Title: Bartender

Summary:
The bartender plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for patrons by providing exceptional service and crafting high-quality beverages. They are responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies, such as glassware, ingredients, and garnishes.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and compliance with sanitation standards.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing tabs.
• Monitor the intake of alcohol by customers, ensuring responsible service and compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely service to customers.
• Stay updated on current trends in mixology and beverage culture, continuously improving skills and expanding knowledge of new products and techniques.
• Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and themed nights to attract and retain customers.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender or similar role in a hospitality setting.
• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, preparation methods, and presentation techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and colleagues effectively.
• Excellent multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and maintaining inventory.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the business.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) may be required, depending on local regulations.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (e.g., cases of beverages).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in bartending is a plus.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
