Responsible for overall supervision, planning, controlling and coordination of all activities of the assigned outlet. Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, and guest service. Monitor and supervise service flow in the assigned outlet. Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach should be brought to the attention of the Management

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in Visakhapatnam, India. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a wide range of beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and soft drinks Create signature cocktails and recommend drink options to customers Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Take customer orders and process payments accurately Monitor and maintain inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed Verify customers' age and practice responsible alcohol service Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service operations Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally Assist in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons

Qualifications

Prior experience as a bartender or in a similar role, preferably in an upscale establishment Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and current beverage trends Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills in English and local languages Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Food safety certification (equivalent to Food Handlers Card in India) Bartending certification (equivalent to MAST Permit in India) preferred Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and presentation

Additional Information

Responsible for daily administration, meeting and greeting, dealing with guests' queries and complaints, and booking rooms. visitors Maintain high standards of customer services at the Reception desk so that customers' expectations are consistently exceeded. Motivate and develop Reception team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork. * Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach should be brought to the attention of the Management.
