• Mixing and Serving Drinks : Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Customer Service : Greeting customers, taking orders, and serving drinks. Engaging with guests to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Maintaining Bar Stock : Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of beverages, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies. Ordering new stock when necessary.
• Bar Setup and Clean-Up : Setting up the bar before opening, including arranging bottles, glasses, and other equipment. Cleaning the bar area, glasses, and equipment after service.
• Cash Handling and Billing : Managing cash transactions, processing payments, and providing accurate bills to customers.
• Ensuring Compliance : Adhering to local laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol. Checking IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Safety and Hygiene : Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the bar area. Following safety protocols for handling and serving beverages.
• Training and Supervision : Training new bar staff and possibly supervising junior staff or bar backs.
• Customer Feedback and Problem Solving : Handling customer complaints or issues in a professional and efficient manner. Collecting feedback to improve service quality.
