Job Description

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment in a cafe or coffee shop setting. Your role involves preparing a variety of coffee drinks, taking customer orders, handling transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve a diverse range of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.

2. Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.

3. Greet customers, take orders, and provide detailed information about menu items, specials, and product offerings.

4. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate sales records.

1. Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing customer concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.

2. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment, countertops, and seating areas to ensure a hygienic and inviting environment.

3. Restock inventory, monitor supply levels, and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.

4. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service during busy periods.

5. Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling procedures and adherence to sanitation regulations.

6. Participate in training sessions to expand knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and customer service skills.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role in a cafe, coffee shop, or hospitality setting is preferred.

Strong knowledge of coffee beverages, brewing methods, and drink preparation techniques.

Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Flexibility in work schedule, including the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
