Ishtha Institute of Hospitality & Culinary Arts (IIHCA) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Barista Trainer to join our esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will have a passion for coffee and teaching, with a strong background in barista skills and techniques. This is an excellent opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with aspiring baristas and contribute to their professional growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction and Training: Provide comprehensive training on coffee preparation, brewing methods, and espresso techniques. Instruct students on the use and maintenance of coffee equipment.
- Hands-On Demonstrations: Conduct live demonstrations of various coffee-making processes, including latte art, pour-over methods, and espresso extraction.
- Student Assessment: Assess students\' skills through practical exams and assignments. Provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Workshop Coordination: Organize and lead workshops and seminars on advanced coffee techniques and industry best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of quality and consistency in all training sessions. Stay updated with the latest developments in the coffee industry.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor students throughout their training, offering support and advice to help them achieve their career goals.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience as a barista.
- Extensive knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and espresso techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging training sessions.
- Passion for coffee and a commitment to excellence.
- Previous teaching or training experience is preferred but not required.
