: Barista Trainer

Position Title: Barista Trainer

Location: Gurgaon

Salary - Upto 25K

Position Summary:
The Barista Trainer is responsible for providing comprehensive training and development for new and existing baristas, ensuring consistent quality of coffee and exceptional customer service. This role involves creating training materials, conducting training sessions, and evaluating the performance of baristas to maintain high standards within the coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training and Development:
• Develop and update training materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures for barista training.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for current staff on coffee preparation, equipment use, and customer service.
• Provide in-depth knowledge of coffee origins, roasting processes, and brewing techniques.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all baristas adhere to company standards for coffee preparation and presentation.
• Conduct regular quality checks and provide feedback to baristas to maintain high-quality beverages.
• Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
• Customer Service Training:
• Train baristas on effective customer service techniques to enhance the customer experience.
• Develop role-playing scenarios and practical exercises to improve barista-customer interactions.
• Monitor customer feedback and incorporate it into training sessions to address any service gaps.
• Operational Support:
• Assist in the onboarding process for new baristas, including orientation and initial training.
• Collaborate with store managers to identify training needs and areas for improvement.
• Support daily operations as needed, including barista shifts during peak hours or staff shortages.
• Performance Evaluation:
• Evaluate the performance of baristas through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop individualized training plans for baristas requiring additional support.
• Recognize and reward outstanding performance and progress.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the coffee industry.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance personal knowledge and skills.
• Implement new techniques and best practices into training programs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a barista with in-depth knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment.
• Previous experience in a training or supervisory role is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Passion for coffee and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Certification from a recognized coffee training program is a plus.

Work Environment:

• This position may require standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
• The role may involve travel between different store locations for training purposes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?25,000.00 per month
