Job Summary

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items in a friendly and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and inviting environment for customers.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take orders accurately and provide product recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages, including espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality by adhering to established recipes and techniques.
• Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders.

Food Preparation

• Assist with the preparation and serving of light snacks or pastries as per menu offerings.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food items.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including counters, tables, and equipment.
• Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, and syrups as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations during peak hours.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to improving service quality.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment (training can be provided).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month

• Morning shift
• Rotational shift
