  • We\xe2\x80\x99re offering this role at vice president level
What you\'ll doAs Financial Control Manager, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be accountable for ensuring your team\xe2\x80\x99s objectives and goals are met. This will include daily activity delivery and promoting a culture of data and information quality.You\xe2\x80\x99ll set the control frameworks and deliverable governance framework aligned to our overall strategy, ensuring adherence to the strategy, operating model and process architecture principles.In addition, you\xe2\x80\x99ll:
  • Actively participate in strategic initiatives
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture in the team
  • Deliver full substantiation and reconciliation of the balance sheet within a controlled framework and understand the key business drivers
  • Set and manage internal controls
  • Ensure good quality and insightful information is available on key metrics around balance sheet substantiation.
The skills you\'ll needWe\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an individual with excellent transferable experience of working in a large multinational financial services environment, ideally with ledger control and/or controls experience. You\xe2\x80\x99ll ideally have experience of global working.To succeed in this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring:
  • A relevant qualification and proficiency in accounting
  • Experience of implementing business process and procedural change in a complex business environment
  • Strong experience in banking payment systems, interlinked financial systems and accounting procedures
  • The ability to implement operating model and strategic change
  • The proven ability to drive culture and generate several ways forward to achieve team objectives
