Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Bakery Sales Assistant to join our team. The Bakery Sales Assistant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring that the bakery is clean and well-stocked. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baked goods and a commitment to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
• Provide information about bakery products, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and courteously.
• Sales and Transactions:
• Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately.
• Upsell and recommend bakery products to enhance customer purchases.
• Keep track of sales and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Product Management:
• Ensure that bakery displays are attractive, well-stocked, and clean.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify the Bakery Manager of any shortages.
• Assist with the packaging and labeling of bakery products.
• Sanitation and Safety:
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following all health and safety regulations.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and display cases regularly.
• Ensure all bakery products are stored properly and maintain their freshness.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other bakery staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with the preparation and baking of products as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Marketing and Promotion:
• Assist in setting up and executing bakery promotions and special events.
• Distribute promotional materials and provide samples to customers.
• Gather customer feedback and provide insights to improve product offerings and services.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Passion for baked goods and knowledge of bakery products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
