Job Title: Bakery & Pastry Commi-2

The Bakery & Pastry Commi-2 is an entry-level position in a bakery and pastry kitchen. The role involves assisting senior chefs in preparing and presenting baked goods and desserts, following recipes, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The position requires someone who is passionate about baking and eager to learn and grow in the culinary field.

Key Responsibilities:-

Assist in the preparation and baking of bread, pastries, cakes, and other desserts.

- Measure and mix ingredients as per recipes and instructions from senior chefs.

- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers.

- Ensure that all baked goods meet the required standards for quality and presentation.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients.

- Follow food safety and hygiene standards rigorously.

- Support senior chefs with any other tasks as needed in the kitchen.

Qualifications:-

A high school diploma or equivalent.- A certification or diploma in bakery and pastry arts from a recognized culinary institute is preferred.

- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation.

- Prior experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is an advantage but not mandatory.

Skills:-

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new baking techniques and methods.

- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
