Job Title: Bakery Manager

Location: Kashipur, Uttrakhand

Position Summary: The Bakery Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the bakery, ensuring the production of high-quality baked goods, maintaining excellent customer service, and optimizing profitability. This role includes overseeing staff, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and implementing effective marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:
• Oversee daily bakery operations, including production, sales, and customer service.
• Ensure adherence to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the bakery.
• Staff Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise bakery staff, including bakers, pastry chefs, and front-of-house employees.
• Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to staff.
• Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Track and control costs, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock rotation.
• Customer Service:
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and product quality.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively.
• Develop and implement customer loyalty programs and promotions.
• Financial Management:
• Monitor financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability.
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
• Implement strategies to achieve sales targets and cost-control objectives.
• Marketing and Business Development:
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
• Implement and maintain food safety and hygiene practices.
• Conduct regular safety audits and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bakery Manager or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and production processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in inventory management and cost control.
• Understanding of financial statements and budgeting.
• Marketing and business development experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
