Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and drip coffee.
• Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and work area.
• Ensure quality control by following standard recipes and procedures.
• Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register.
• Provide information to customers about coffee products and offerings.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Knowledge of different coffee beans, brewing methods, and coffee preparation techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
