We are seeking a talented and passionate Cake Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a creative flair, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to crafting high-quality, visually stunning, and delicious cakes. As a Cake Artist, you will play a crucial role in bringing our customers' visions to life, whether for weddings, birthdays, or other special occasions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Decoration:
• Create custom cake designs based on customer requirements and event themes.
• Apply advanced techniques such as fondant sculpting, piping, airbrushing, and sugar art to decorate cakes.
• Production:
• Prepare and bake cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods.
• Assemble and sculpt cakes to achieve the desired structure and look.
• Customer Interaction:
• Consult with customers to understand their preferences, design ideas, and event themes.
• Provide suggestions on flavors, styles, and designs to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure cakes meet high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of baked goods to preserve freshness.
• Inventory & Maintenance:
• Manage inventory of ingredients, tools, and equipment needed for cake production.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Cake Artist or Pastry Chef.
• Strong portfolio showcasing cake designs and decorating skills.
• Excellent knowledge of baking techniques and cake-making processes.
• Creativity and artistic ability with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Preferred:

• Certification in Baking, Pastry Arts, or a related field.
• Experience with trending cake techniques and styles, such as 3D sculpted cakes or watercolor effects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
