Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bagel Baker to join our team. As a Bagel Baker, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and ensuring the quality of our delicious bagels. You should have a strong understanding of baking techniques, especially in relation to bagel production. Attention to detail, adherence to recipes, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Bagel Preparation: Mix, knead, shape, and proof dough according to established recipes and procedures.
• Baking: Operate baking equipment such as ovens and proof boxes to bake bagels to perfection.
• Quality Control: Monitor the baking process to ensure bagels are baked properly and meet quality standards.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by reporting stock levels and participating in ordering supplies.
• Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and tools according to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
• Adherence to Regulations: Follow health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience as a Bagel Baker or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge: Understanding of baking techniques specific to bagel production.
• Skills: Ability to operate baking equipment, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
