Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure server-side applications using cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in PHP, Python, or Node.js, with expertise in REST API development, SQL and NoSQL databases, and a passion for writing clean, modular, and secure code.


Responsibilities

1. Design and develop scalable and efficient backend applications using PHP, Python, or Node.js.

2. Develop RESTful APIs to interact with frontend applications and third-party services.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.

4. Implement automated testing and deployment scripts to ensure high-quality releases.

5. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues.

7. Optimize database performance and query optimization.

8. Ensure backend applications are secure, reliable, and scalable.

9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.


Requirements
================

Technical Skills
====================

1. 2+ years of experience in web solutions and services development.

2. Proficiency in PHP, Python, or Node.js.

3. Experience with RESTful API development.

4. Strong understanding of SQL (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

5. Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and TDD (Test-Driven Development).

6. Knowledge of secure coding practices and OWASP guidelines.



Desirable Skills

1. Experience with Go or Java programming languages.

2. Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).

3. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
