As evidence of our rapid growth and industry leadership, we were acquired by the worlds leading private equity firm Bain Capital in 2021 for $17bn! and we have many new strategic product initiatives.Position Summary: We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff - MTS to join our platform team within our Chennai R&D division.Team: Platform Services serves as the backbone of most of the athenahealth products ranging from RCM, EHR and other diverse, business critical solutions. The solutions designed and delivered by the platform team enable the business solutions to serve customers in a highly robust, resilient and optimal manner. This team is innovative, passionate, and driven by our mission to help make an impact.Typical Qualifications:

• Min 2 to 4 years of experience in software development role
• Strong expertise with any modern programming and frameworks such as of Java/Spring/Spring boot, Python, Node.js and React.js
• Good problem solving/logical reasoning skills.
• Experience with object-oriented programming
• Exposure to SQL
• Exposure to REST APIs
• Experience with AWS will be an added advantage.
• Experience with coding in Perl will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux preferred
• Experience in working with Micro services will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity of working in an Agile environment preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver customer value in the form of high-quality software components
• Write, debug, and deploy code to production; deliver timely fixes.
• Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals
• Adhere to DOD (story definition of done) as part of the sprint, including unit tests, functional testing, regressions, bug fixes, documentation and adhere to best coding practices.
• Participate and contribute to scrum meetings i.e., daily stand-up, sprint planning, readouts, backlog grooming and retrospectives
