: Backend Developer

Position Title: Backend Developer

Location: Navrangpura, Ahmedabad (Work from Office)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Engineering Tech Lead cum Product Lead

Experience Required: 3-5 Years

In this role, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing which deliver exceptional system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable server-side applications using frameworks like Node.js (Express.js), ReactJs, Golang, or Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Create secure and efficient APIs following RESTful principles for seamless integration with frontend applications.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our backend infrastructure. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Optimize database queries and manage data structures for efficient data access, leveraging PostgreSQL and other relevant database technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, collaborate effectively with frontend developers, and ensure adherence to coding best practices.
• Deploy backend applications to the cloud using platforms like AWS Lambda, SQS, S3, and Batch. Experience with Docker and version control systems (Git) is essential.
• Implement robust authentication and authorization protocols to ensure secure API access.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date API documentation to facilitate smooth communication with other teams.

Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong programming skills in Node.js, Golang, or Python with experience in building backend applications.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with server deployment tools like Docker Compose and version control systems like Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, particularly services relevant to backend development (e.g., Lambda, SQS, S3). (Familiarity with additional services like Kafka or streaming solutions like Apache Druid is a plus).
• Strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
• A portfolio showcasing your backend development skills is a plus.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT).
