• Tally graphsExcel can be used to create tally graphs, which are charts that use vertical lines to represent data points. For example, a group of four lines with a slash through them can represent five.
• Data importTallyPrime can import data from Excel, which can be useful for things like importing ledgers and transactions, or receiving price lists from dealers. The import function can also create logs to help identify and fix errors.
• Data exportTally can also export data to Excel. For example, you can export a balance sheet by clicking E or pressing Alt+E on the balance sheet screen. From there, you can select a language and format, and choose a filename. You can also format the contents of the file in Excel spreadsheet formatting.
