DFS BA Head As the Head of Business Analysis, you will be expected to lead a team of Business Analysts catering to a large global customer base operating in the Digital Financial and Telecom space. Along with overlooking and taking responsibility all aspects of the BA team, you would be also required to provide strategic business analysis services to our clients by directly engaging with them as per business requirements. The expectation of this position is to work closely with the internal and external stakeholders of the Product unit so to gain in-depth understanding of customers\' business requirements, strategy, process, services, roadmap in the context in which the business operates. You would be expected to identify opportunities to improve efficiency. For the BA team you are expected to manage the team\'s efforts, planning their work, overseeing their daily activities and removing any hindrances that may be impacting their work and take accountability of their work/deliverables as a true leader. Roles Responsibilities Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others Monitor, track and present team performance to senior management on regular basis along with articulating ideas and viewpoints to internal and external stakeholders. Identifying and initiating projects, managing resources, driving the resolution of issues/challenges, and holding self and team accountable for results. Identify, create and facilitate process design changes focusing on quality improvement and reduction of duplicate efforts by developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination. Partnering with internal and external customers to ensure system meets the business requirements. Lead and or participate in multiple projects by reviewing or completing project documents, managing project scope, adjusting and communicating schedule changes when necessary, determining daily priorities, ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks/milestones by team members. Managing internal and external customer relationships for the team and the project. Handling team escalations from internal and external customers and providing justified resolutions backed by valid data Track and monitor overall teams\' product knowledge and quality of deliverables. Assist in mapping client expectation to the existing functionalities available in product as part of projects and RFPs. Assist team in collaborating with product team, development team, QA for discussing the feasibility of implementing client specific customization in the product. Assist team in preparing various functional documents and facilitate review of the same by various stakeholders, closure with client sign off. Assist team in reviewing training material provided by documentation team. Provide as well assist team in providing product functional training to various stakeholders. Have internal kick off for implementation with all stakeholders to clarify and define the project scope, apprise them of timelines that have been communicated to client Stay updated with current market needs and strategies by utilizing formal and informal communication methods with external and internal customers. Manage stakeholders relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date of project progress/results. Identify ways to increase out of box product features adoption and customer satisfaction. Demonstrate fluency in business processes and process differentiation. Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders. Participate and assist Business Development team for RFP compliance, submissions, and product demos. Proactively engage with Product Management team to envision product roadmap. Product Mapping to requirements Capture user requirements unambiguously Process Mapping - Release management Process etc Requirement walk through / Review and Sign off with customer Maintain requirement doc under version control and be the custodian for the same Participate in various progress / project reviews Be responsible for UAT for the requirement part of the job - Any gaps are close by BAs Publish variance report and scope creep report Skills and Background In-depth knowledge of Mobile Money, Digital Payments, Digital Banking, Payment Gateways, Electronic Distribution and Recharge Platform developments across the globe along with terminologies. Awareness of latest industry trends prevalent in the domain of Digital Payments, Digital Banking, Payment Gateways, Electronic Distribution and Recharge Platform. Prior experienceof leading diverse team of Business / Systems Analyst Excellent documentation skills. Knowledge & experience of using UML for sequence diagrams & use case creation. Proficiency of MS-Office, Visio, wire-framing tools likemarvel, moqups, Balsamiq. Proactive approach for handling tough and tricky situations Willingness to stretch (if need be) to achieve agreed goal Ability to come up with innovative solutions to address customer requirements or issues and stand for the team when needed. Have an attitude of taking ownership and accountability for the team and or given task. Ability to handle high pressure environment and multitask with effective problem solving abilities. Excellent Interpersonal skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders. Inherent quality of being team player. Experience working with international /global clients. Experience in working in an Agile development environment.
