We are seeking an experienced B2G Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. This role requires an individual with strong experience in government sales and tender management . The candidate should be based in Delhi , with the flexibility to work in-office , and will be required to travel to government offices 4-5 days per month for collaboration and fieldwork. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of government procurement processes, including eligibility checks, tender filings, and the ability to manage government portals effectively .
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Management & Filing:
• Prepare, review, and submit tenders for various government projects, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with government requirements.
• Examine tender eligibility and qualification criteria, ensuring that all necessary documents and certifications are in place for submission.
• Manage and track tender deadlines, ensuring timely submissions for tenders in regions like UP, Bihar, and Delhi.
Government Portals Management:
• Regularly access and navigate government portals for tender opportunities, such as GEM (Government e-Marketplace) and state-specific procurement websites.
• Monitor tender notifications and opportunities for public sector projects in UP, Bihar, Delhi, and other regions.
Eligibility and Compliance Checks:
• Conduct thorough checks to evaluate if the company meets the eligibility criteria for various government tenders.
• Review annexures and other technical requirements to ensure complete compliance with government specifications.
Collaboration & Relationship Building:
• Visit government offices to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Coordinate and collaborate with government officials to understand their requirements and align the company's offerings with their needs.
Market Research & Reporting:
• Conduct market research to identify upcoming tenders, government projects, and funding opportunities.
• Provide regular reports on the status of ongoing tenders, including updates on government meetings, collaborations, and potential opportunities.
Field Work & Travel:
• Be comfortable with fieldwork and travel to government offices 2-3 days a month to foster relationships and support on-the-ground sales activities.
• Travel expenses will be reimbursed for official visits.
Sales Support:
• Provide overall sales support to the B2G team, ensuring timely follow-ups and addressing any inquiries related to tenders and projects.
Qualifications:
Experience:
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in government sales and tender management , with a proven track record of successfully filing tenders and working on government projects.
• Prior experience working with government portals (e.g., GEM, state-specific tender sites) is essential.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes , including eligibility checks, compliance, and annexure preparation.
• Familiarity with the specific tender requirements and filing processes for regions like UP, Bihar, Delhi.
• Ability to analyze and assess tender documents to ensure eligibility and complete submission.
Communication & Relationship Building:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with government officials and collaborating with internal teams.
• Ability to visit government offices and handle on-site meetings comfortably.
Technical Proficiency:
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
• Familiarity with online government procurement portals is required.
Work Environment:
• Should be Based in Delhi . Occasional travel to government offices for meetings and collaboration (2-3 days per month).
