Avantor is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced B2B eCommerce Onboarding Specialist, who will be responsible for delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.

A B2B eCommerce Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for managing eProcurement integration projects. This role will follow standard processes for external integrations to Avantor systems, leveraging current business processes and technologies available to support the Procure to Pay life cycle. This dynamic position on the B2B team will help to enable digital transformation and new revenue opportunities for Avantor. This position will also assess customer eCatalog requirements and will facilitate tight communication with Sales & Pricing teams to confirm timely delivery.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)

Oversee eCommerce projects and drive standard 'fast-track' b2b customer integrations.

Facilitate customer communications (conference calls and email), as related to assigned b2b projects.

Track the status of customer testing and coordinate timing for production migrations.

Implementation management for standard b2b integration projects.

Analyzes processes, as compared to business needs, and recommends system or process improvements.

Deliver quality projects on time according to a targeted SLA.

Able to manage 10-15 projects simultaneously and consistently deliver quality & timely projects.

Interacts well and builds good working relationships with all project players.

Proactive communication with customers that have not responded to requests for testing.

Validate eCatalog content requirements and facilitate the end-to-end process to delivery

Serve as primary eCatalog liaison between Customer, Sales, Pricing, and IT resources.

Facilitate eCatalog distribution to customer(s) and/or business marketplaces

Provide level 2 support for complex B2B-eCommerce issues.

Manage contact database for customer technical and business resources.

Communicate with managers, leads, and technicians to help resolve support issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)



College degree in related discipline or equivalent experience

3-5+ years applicable experience (business analysis, data analysis, IT support, EDI, eProcurement)

Experience with common customer eProcurement applications (i.e. SAP-Ariba, Jaggaer, Coupa, Proactis...)

Solid understanding of the Procure-to-Pay / Order to Cash processes.

Familiarity of b2b formats (EDI ANSI-X12, cXML, XML, SAP-IDOC, API webservices) & middleware platforms.

Understanding of Punchout (cXML Level 1 & 2, OCI standard & background search, Federated API)

Experience with SAP and related SAP-EDI interfaces a plus.

Driven; Self-Motivated; Can function well leading projects with little direction

Strong attention to details with a balanced perspective to the big picture

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)



Must work US or UK business hours

Strong verbal & written communication skills; Fluent in English.

General problem solving and root cause analysis kills

Ability to facilitate customer conference calls

Self-Motivated; High energy

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Ability to understand technical process and systems; Quick learner
