Job Summary Under broad supervision, provide second level support and troubleshooting for Avantor information systems as well as a liaison between the Help Desk and Tier 3 (Level 2) teams. Respond to incoming requests via phone, email, voice mail, and Intranet forms during busy periods of the day. Troubleshoot and resolve advanced and/or escalated support problems. Work with other support teams on system testing, diagnosing problems, and special projects. Train and mentor new hires and Level 1 team members. Avantor is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced B2B Associate eCatalog Manager and Automation, delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives. What we\'re looking for Education: College degree in related discipline or demonstrated equivalent work Experience: 3-8+ years of technical catalog or project management, data analysis, IT support, eCommerce). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with common customer eProcurement applications (i.e., SAP/Ariba Network, Jaggaer, Hubwoo, Coupa, Oracle Supplier Network, Unimarket, Perfect Commerce, ESM, etc.). Strong customer-facing oral and written communication skills, people skills, and presentation skills are critical. Experience with data queries, file exports, data uploads using various data formats (.txt, .csv, .xls, .xml), ecommerce data formats (EDI-ANSI x12, cXML, xCBL, html, OCI, API webservices) and B2B communication protocols (https, AS2, EDI-INT, SFTP, punchout, OCI Roundtrip, VANs). Key tools: Oracle SQL, MS VBA, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Visio, UltraEdit, Putty, WS FTP-Pro, QlikView. Knowledge and experience of Avantor product master data and related systems is a plus (SAP, VWR.com, STIBO). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be fluent in English. Willing to work during business hours in a US time zone, while coordinating between multiple global time zones. Open to innovation and change in a deadline driven work environment. Strong verbal & written communication skills. Self-motivated and able to function well leading projects with limited direction. Problem-solving ability to drill down quickly to the root cause of a technical or data issue. Always client-driven and able to work through difficult customer data issues. Environmental Working Conditions & Physical Effort (Under Typical Positions): Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level. Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives many be developed to resolve problems. A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis. Minimal physical effort is required.
