Life Claims Adjudicator:
The Individual Insurance Claims department plays a crucial role with our clients as we offer them financial help when they most need it. Role summary: The Claims Adjudicator is responsible for the assessment of claims for individual insurance.
Main Accountabilities:
• Assess the documentation received for a claim in order to reach a decision Determine how the contract applies to each claim
• Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, advisors and various professionals and effectively manage their expectations
• Maintain established service standards Evaluate opportunities for process improvements and actively participate in team initiatives and projects
Competencies:
• Knowledge of individual life insurance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to handle written and telephone inquiries of a sensitive nature
• 3 years of client service experience or 2 years in a claims environment
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to provide quality service
• Ability to balance high work volumes and telephone inquiries
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Solid PC skills with knowledge of Word and Excel
Requirements:
• College diploma/university degree/CEGEP degree or relevant experience
• Knowledge of MLIF, Ingenium, CSW, Filenet and IBM Notes
• Bilingualism (French and English)
• Knowledge of individual life insurance
Assets:
• Education involving knowledge of Medical terminology

L'equipe chargee des reglements d'assurance individuelle joue un role essentiel aupres de nos clients en raison de l'aide financiere offerte au moment ou ils en ont le plus besoin. Nous sommes a la recherche d'une personne dynamique qui souhaite occuper le poste d'analyste en reglements. Le titulaire du poste aura la possibilite de gravir les echelons a l'interne grace a notre echelle de progression.
Description du poste : L'analyste en reglements est charge de l'evaluation des demandes de reglement d'assurance vie pour le secteur de l'assurance individuelle.
Principales responsabilites :
• Evaluer les documents recus concernant une demande de reglement dans le but de rendre une decision.
• Determiner l'application du contrat pour chaque demande de reglement.
• Communiquer clairement et de maniere proactive avec les clients, les conseillers et les differents professionnels et gerer efficacement leurs attentes.
• Respecter les normes etablies en matiere de service.
• Evaluer les occasions d'amelioration des processus et participer activement aux initiatives et aux projets d'equipe.

• Connaissance de l'assurance vie
• Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication orale et ecrite et capacite de traiter des demandes de renseignements confidentielles par telephone et par ecrit
• Bilinguisme (francais et anglais)
