ROLE DEFINITION The DuPont Water and Protection Analytics team uses the Azure Data Lake and Microsoft Power BI to provide analytics solutions and business data insights to a wide range of functions including sales, supply chain, operations and finance. As a specialist in our team, you will be responsible for expanding this service and ensuring its continuing reliability and performance by leading initiatives to connect new data sources, enhance existing data sources and manage intersections with external teams and processes. RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION Position activities include: Interface with enterprise architects to facilitate architecture & security reviews for analytics applications Lead execution of high priority projects in collaboration with business stakeholders, W&P data engineers / scientists, and internal/external contract resources Provide guidance to data engineering team on data priorities to support future exploratory & production data engineering work. Implement work product in DuPont\'s Azure environment (Databricks, Azure Datalake, Azure Devops) JOB QUALIFICATIONS To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: Bachelor\'s Degree in math, science, engineering, IT or related area Strong communication skills in English language (both written and spoken) Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and to influence people in related functions Ability to understand complex concepts and to solve problems on your own or by guiding others Ability to be an effective team member with remote colleagues spread across the world Strong understanding of data engineering principles and methodologies Interest and ability to pioneer new tools/technologies as required Experience with DevOps (particularly Azure DevOps Services) and deploying code through a CI/CD process Extensive experience working with git / version control and reviewing pull requests Advanced Databricks or advanced experience in Spark + notebook environments (Jupyter, Google Colab, etc.) Experience with Azure Ecosystem (ADF, ADLS, IoT Hub, etc.) Experience in Agile/Scrum Proficient with implementing data refresh models (overwrite, upsert, etc) and data deduplication logic Proficient in one or more of the data processing language/framework: SQL, Python Pandas, PySpark, Spark SQL Good to Have skills: Scala and/or Java Azure Boards R MLOps Process Orchestration (i.e. Airflow) Experience with streaming data Experience working with and implementing TDD (Test Driven Development) DuPont is an equal opportunity employer.
