We are always moving forward xe2x80x93 always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.The RoleInfrastructure Specialists at Kyndryl are project-based subject matter experts in all things infrastructure xe2x80x93 good at providing analysis, documenting and diagramming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally xe2x80x9cfiguring it out.xe2x80x9d This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients.The Responsibilities Includes:Execute the onboarding steps as mentioned in the runbook.Monitor and validate success of onboarding performed with relevant teams like Cybersecurity.Collaborate with third-party entities, such as Microsoft or VM Owners, to resolve issues encountered during onboarding.Assist in identifying and implementing solution for automation of repetitive tasks in engineering workflows.Assist in document lessons learned in terms of technical details after each onboarding wave.Assist in working with M&O (Maintenance and Operations) for the seamless coordination of handovers.Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date Runbook documentation capturing all technical aspects.Monitor and validate execution of onboarding steps by engineering team members.Identify and implement simplification and automation of repetitive tasks in engineering workflows.Proactively analyse and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure engineers have all necessary data points for onboarding.Work with Transition/Change Manager to provide technical details for Change Requests.Collaborate with Transition Manager for wave planning during onboarding.Mentoring the Cloud Engineers in cloud best practices and new features.This is a project-based role where youxe2x80x99ll enjoy deep involvement throughout the lifespan of a project, as well as the chance to work closely with Architects, Technicians, and PMs. Whatever your current level of tech savvy or where you want your career to lead, youxe2x80x99ll find the right opportunities and a buddy to support your growth. And finally, youxe2x80x99re open and borderless xe2x80x93 naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Required Technical and Professional ExperienceMinimum 4 years of experience on Azure Standard tools like Azure Monitor Agents/MS Defender Onboarding.Hands on Experience on Linux and Windows (Should be able to easily handle the SSH/CLI/PowerShell)Experience in creating PowerShell/Bash scripts to automate onboarding jobs.Hands on experience on Cloud native patching services available in Azure/AWS/GCP like Azure Update Manager, AWS Systems Manager, GCP VM Manager Patch Management.Experience provisioning, configuring and maintaining cloud computing services such as Azure, AWS, and GCPExperience on Azure Networking, Intermediate Knowledge on Networking Aspects.Experience in integrating Vulnerability management tools like Qualys/F-secure for cloud workloads.Documentation Skills: Keep Runbook documentation comprehensive and current. Detail technical lessons learned post each onboarding wave; share insights for process enhancement.Preferred Technical and Professional ExperienceKnowledge in Terraform is an added advantage.Azure infrastructure configuration and management with at least AZ-104 certificationEffective Communication: Communicate clearly and concisely with team members, stakeholders, and third-party entities.Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices related to cloud engineering.Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and proceduresStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailBeing YouDiversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, itxe2x80x99s how we think and who we are.
