Do you like to be challenged and encouraged to learn and grow professionally?As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines to support business and analytics needs. You will work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines using Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Extract, transform and load data from variety of sources, including on-premises databases, cloud-based data stores and API calls
• Implement data processing and transformation logic using SQL, Python, PySpark and/or other programming languages
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop data models and solutions to meet those needs.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively
• Implement data governance and security controls to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Stay up-to-date with latest Azure technologies and best practices in data engineering
• Work in Agile team

• 4+ yrs experience as a data engineer
• proficiency in Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics and SQL Server
• experience with SQL, Python, Java and/or other programming languages
• experience with ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory
• experience with PySpark and SparkSQL
• skilled in designing scalable data models and adept at transforming requirements into efficient data structures
• solid background in designing high-performance data architectures in azure
• experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery ( GitLab/Jenkins )
