Azure Cloud Operations SMEExperience: 3-5 YRSLocation: Hyderabad - WFORole - Azure Cloud Operations SME L2Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Operations SME to join our team, focusing on standard Level 2 (L2) activities within our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing Azure IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) environments, ensuring efficient operation, availability, and security of our cloud resources.Key Responsibilities:- **Operations and Maintenance**: Perform regular L2 operational tasks, including monitoring, management, troubleshooting, and resolving issues within Azure IaaS and PaaS services.- **Incident Management**: Respond to and resolve incidents, minimizing impact on services and ensuring SLAs are met. Collaborate with L1 support teams and escalate complex issues to L3 experts as necessary.- **Performance Tuning**: Monitor and optimize performance of Azure cloud services. Implement best practices for scaling resources and reducing costs.- **Security and Compliance**: Implement and manage security policies and controls. Ensure cloud environments comply with industry standards and company policies.- **Disaster Recovery and Backup**: Manage and test disaster recovery plans. Ensure all Azure services are backed up and can be restored according to business requirements.- **Automation**: Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy using Azure automation tools and scripting languages.- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for cloud operations, including configuration, processes, and service records.- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay current with Azure features and capabilities. Recommend improvements to operations and architecture to enhance performance and reduce costs.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- At least 3 years of experience in cloud operations, specifically with Azure IaaS and PaaS.- Strong understanding of Azure services, management tools, and best practices.- Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).- Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance frameworks relevant to Azure.- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.Desired Skills:- Certifications in Azure Administration (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-303 and AZ-304) are highly desirable.- Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
