We are seeking a skilled Windows Administrator with expertise in Azure cloud technologies to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and optimizing Azure environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance. This role requires proficiency in implementing, configuring, and supporting Azure services and resources to support our organization's cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and Azure Active Directory.
• Monitor and optimize Azure services to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Implement and manage Azure services such as Azure AD Connect, Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, and Azure Security Center.
• Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), including Windows Server and Linux deployments.
• Implement and maintain Azure networking services, including VPNs, ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leverage Azure cloud services to meet business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies across Azure cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure cloud services, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Plan and execute migrations to Azure cloud services from on-premises environments.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding Azure cloud solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation related to Azure cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Windows Administrator with a focus on Azure cloud technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure as code (ARM templates, PowerShell) and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system monitoring and maintenance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are preferred.
