• develop data load & transform and model development / execution on azure cloud
• help us build state of the art solutions that underpin Monitoring & surveillance models and alert generation using cutting edge technologies like Scala, Azure Data Lake, DataBricks, Apache Spark, Postgres etc.
• demonstrate superior problem-solving skills
• demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs

You will be a key member of a young and expanding team that is part of the Compliance Technology function. We are a small friendly bunch who take pride in the quality of work that we do. As a team, we provide AI based solutions on top of a big data platform, working closely with peers from the business led data science team, as well as other engineering teams.Your expertiseYour expertise

• degree level education; preferably Computer Science (Bachelor or Master\'s degree)
• 7-10 years of hands-on design and development experience in several of the relevant technology areas (Azure Data Lake, Apache Spark, DataBricks, Postgres etc.)
• experience and expertise working in a microservices based architecture
• experience in working in a MS Azure (added advantage)
• experience in coding skills in Scala or PySpark (added advantage)
• have Agile, Test Driven Development and DevOps practices part of your DNA
• demonstrate strong communication skills, both to senior management and teams
• background in IB or Finance domain with good understanding of finance principles (added advantage)
• gitlab & CI/CD pipeline experience is a plus
• experience with PyTest or Scala Test is a plus
• strong analytical and problem solving skills
• collaborative approach towards problem solving, working closely with other colleagues in the global team and sensitive towards diversity
