As an Ayurvedic Spa Therapist you will be responsible for delivering a range of Ayurvedic treatments and therapies, ensuring each guest receives personalized care that promotes physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. Your expertise in Ayurvedic practices will help guests achieve balance and rejuvenation.
Key Responsibilities:
Treatment Delivery
- Perform a variety of Ayurvedic treatments, including Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Panchakarma, and other traditional therapies.
- Assess guest needs and conditions to tailor treatments effectively, following Ayurvedic principles.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in treatment rooms and throughout the spa.
Customer Service:
- Provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Consult with guests before and after treatments to understand their specific needs and provide personalized care recommendations.
- Address any guest concerns or questions in a professional and timely manner.
Product Knowledge and Sales:
- Stay updated on the latest Ayurvedic products and treatments offered at the spa.
- Educate guests about the benefits of various Ayurvedic treatments and products.
- Promote and sell Ayurvedic products and spa packages to enhance the guest experience and achieve sales targets.
Operational Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary equipment and products, ensuring everything is in good working condition.
- Keep accurate records of treatments performed and products used.
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other spa staff, including receptionists and fellow therapists, to ensure smooth operation of the spa.
- Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings to stay informed about new treatments, products, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Ayurvedic therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2years of experience as an Ayurvedic therapist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in various Ayurvedic treatments and therapies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a spa setting.
- Familiarity with herbal medicines and Ayurvedic dietary principles is a plus.
