We are seeking an experienced AX 2012 Technical Consultant/Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 technical architecture and development tools, and will work closely with functional teams to deliver customized solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customization & Development : Design, develop, test, and implement custom solutions in AX 2012 using X++ programming language. This includes custom reports, workflows, forms, and data import/export.
• System Integration : Work on integrating AX 2012 with external systems (e.g., third-party applications, web services, and other enterprise systems).
• AX 2012 Technical Support : Provide support for ongoing issues related to the AX 2012 environment. This includes troubleshooting and fixing bugs, performance tuning, and ensuring the system is running smoothly.
• System Design & Configuration : Participate in the design and configuration of AX 2012 modules according to business requirements. Recommend best practices and design patterns for solutions.
• Upgrade and Migration : Assist in the migration of AX 2012 to newer versions (e.g., Dynamics 365) as needed.
• Performance Optimization : Identify bottlenecks and optimize the performance of AX 2012 by analyzing code, database queries, and the AX environment.
• Collaboration : Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement them efficiently in AX 2012.
• Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of customizations, configurations, and enhancements made to the AX 2012 environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience : Minimum of [X] years working with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 development and customization.
• Technical Expertise :
• X++ Programming : Proficient in X++ programming language for AX 2012.
• AOT (Application Object Tree) : Strong knowledge of AOT for creating and managing various objects in AX (forms, reports, tables, etc.).
• MorphX : Experience using MorphX for development within AX 2012.
• SSRS Reporting : Experience in developing custom reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and AX reporting frameworks.
• Integration : Knowledge of AX integration capabilities, including AIF (Application Integration Framework), web services, and data import/export.
• SQL Server : Strong SQL skills for database management and query optimization.
• Debugger/Tracing Tools : Familiarity with AX 2012 debugging and tracing tools for troubleshooting.
• Functional Knowledge : Strong understanding of AX 2012 modules such as Finance, Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, or Retail (depending on your organization's focus).
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Communication : Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications : Microsoft Certified: Dynamics AX 2012 or related certifications are a plus.
• Experience with D365 : Exposure to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations would be an added advantage.
• Agile Methodology : Familiarity with Agile project management practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?597,259.89 - ?983,849.83 per year
