: AWS DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations, automating processes, and optimizing our cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud environments using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, and more.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS Code Pipeline, Code Commit, Code Build, and Code Deploy to automate software delivery, testing, and deployment processes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Infrastructure as Code methodologies using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools to create and manage cloud resources.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions, using AWS CloudWatch, Elasticsearch, Kibana, or other monitoring tools, to ensure the performance, availability, and security of the AWS infrastructure.
• Security and Compliance: Implement best practices and security measures to protect AWS environments, follow compliance guidelines, and conduct regular security audits.
• Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to streamline operational tasks, configuration management, and resource provisioning.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and fine-tune AWS resources for optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery: Design and implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical data and applications in AWS.
• Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with software development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with the cloud infrastructure, providing support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve incidents, outages, and operational issues in a timely manner, maintaining the overall stability of the AWS infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a focus on AWS.
• AWS Certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, networking, security, and architecture best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
