In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and architecting cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Python programming language. Your expertise will be crucial in creating scalable, efficient, and secure applications that leverage the power of AWS services.Come be a part of our team \xe2\x80\x93 you\xe2\x80\x99ll work with great people, pioneering products, and cutting-edge technology.What You\'ll Bring:\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and design cloud-native solutions that meet business needs.\xc2\xb7 Develop Python-based applications and services, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code that follows best practices.\xc2\xb7 Design and architect AWS solutions, selecting appropriate services and technologies to achieve optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.\xc2\xb7 Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and more.\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes of applications.\xc2\xb7 Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS resources, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements as needed.\xc2\xb7 Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance within the AWS environment.\xc2\xb7 Mentor and collaborate with other developers to promote best practices in AWS architecture and Python programming.\xc2\xb7 Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AWS services, Python libraries, and industry trends, and apply them to enhance our projects.Impact You\'ll Make:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)\xc2\xb7 Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong understanding of Python programming language.\xc2\xb7 Extensive experience designing and developing applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and best practices for building scalable and reliable applications on AWS.\xc2\xb7 Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.\xc2\xb7 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\xc2\xb7 AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) are highly desirable.\xc2\xb7 Automation experience with Ansible play books and programming languages like Python or PowerShell scripting.This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.TransUnion Job TitleAdvisor, Information Security
