Asset Management India Client & Product teams covers functions that spans across the entire lifecycle of a client. Starting with Sales & Marketing, the group includes functions like Sales support, Product Strategy, Market Insight, Data Management & Governance, Data Delivery & Solutions and Business Intelligence & Analytics. The Product teams, comprising of Research analysts, Investment Specialists (IS) and Portfolio Management teams are responsible for providing additional insights to our securities coverage universe, strategy design, commercializing and monetizing our strategies. The Client Service group caters to functions like RFP, Onboarding, KYC, Client Reporting and Fund level Governance oversight functions involving Product administration, Board management, Funds registration, TA Service Delivery, Product implementation and vendor management services.

The Board Management Team provides a full support service for a number of Open and Closed ended UK, Luxembourg and Irish domiciled funds all of which are managed by JPMorgan Asset Management. The Board Management team comprise of Company Secretaries and Board Management Support (on-shore and off-shore) and work across the Asset Management business to ensure that the Boards are provided with high quality information in a timely manner.

This role will be working within the Board Management Support Team (BMS) and will report into the BMS Manager.

Overview:

The role on offer covers various aspects of client reporting and administration support for the funds that the BMS team are responsible for. The role will work closely with the BMS team based in the UK and will focus on the provision of accurate and timely reporting, building high quality board packs, as well as the coordination of various deliverables across the team (including internal vendors) to ensure that all obligations are met and delivered on a timely basis.

The successful candidate will need to think and act dynamically with the ability to work closely with others within the team, including members based in the UK. They must have a keen attention to detail with excellent organizational / time management skills which can be competently utilized to manage a busy and varied BAU agenda.

Primary responsibilities and duties of the role/wider team:

  • Support the Company Secretary to manage the board paper production process effectively, ensuring that papers are sent to Directors in a timely manner.
  • Preparation, Collation & Review of Diligent Board Packs and Board management papers (involving monthly, quarterly and annual board schedules)
  • Investment Trust Client Reporting - Responsible for producing management information and board schedules as well as checking client reports within the board pack - ensuring data is aligned and accurate.
  • Perform Board pack query resolution.
  • Production of Board Management timetables and room bookings.
  • Maintaining internal stakeholder relationships with CRG, PAG, Investment Managers and Client Communications.
  • Restating Investment Trust reporting data to align with Financial Report & Accounts.
  • Prepare regulatory forms for Stamp duty.
  • Maintain authorized signature lists, Diligent Resource Centre's KRI's and SharePoint sites.
  • Monitor process flows to improve efficiencies and drive improvements.
Candidate skills, experience and knowledge:
  • Product Knowledge - understanding of the structure of UK Funds, including Investment Trusts.
  • Experience - Either one of Client Reporting/Fund Accounting/Performance Reporting essential
  • Client focused - Essential to have a client centric mindset with a commitment to integrity, fairness and responsibility. Flexible "can do" attitude with ability to support others and work across teams.
  • Technical knowledge -Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel competence of charting and formulated templates including Macros. Diligent experience & internal spectrum systems would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Communication skills - Must have excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, identify, research and resolve unfamiliar and/or complex issues.
  • Individuals - must demonstrate company core values. Highly organized to manage a busy and varied day to day agenda.
  • Number of Years of Relevant Experience - Around 6 to 9 yrs .
