Job Description
The fund has secured Category II Alternative Investment Fund certificate from SEBI. The fund invests in asset-light business models, high on innovation/technology, solving large problems in agriculture, food and rural development through innovative means.
- Intensive research of the food, agri and rural space
- Deal origination and evaluation
- Find investment opportunities, carry out due diligence and vetting of new investment opportunities
- Preparation of investment memoranda and present to the investment committee
- Negotiation, structuring and review of legal agreements
- Identification of key risks facing the portfolio implementation of mitigating strategies/ policies
- Participate in portfolio company Board as a Board Observerer
- Tracking of market trends and developments
- Building of detailed financial models for business and investment decision making
- Preparation and review of deal documents such as Investment Memorandum, Issuance of Term Sheets, drafting of share holder agreement, etc.
- Deal Exits
- End - to - end deal activity
- CA/ CFA preferable
- Strong networking skills
- Good investment track record
- Team player
