Job Overview:
The AVP of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for developing and executing the overall India IT talent acquisition strategy for the company. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of recruitment processes, metrics/KPIs, market trends, and the ability to attract top talent. The AVP will work closely with senior leadership and other stakeholders to ensure that the talent acquisition efforts align with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
? Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent across various functions and levels.
? Lead, mentor, and manage the talent acquisition team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
? Collaborate with senior management to understand hiring needs and develop workforce plans.
? Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
? Utilize data-driven approaches to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make necessary adjustments.
? Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
? Foster a strong employer brand to attract and retain top talent.
? Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and professional networks.
? Implement innovative recruitment practices and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
? Manage the recruitment budget and ensure cost-effective hiring solutions.
? Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives within the talent acquisition process.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
? Minimum of 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
? Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale recruitment projects and teams.
? Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, tools, and technologies.
? Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Experience in the IT sector is a required.
? Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt or deep understanding of statistical process control
? Experience in the IT industry, a must
? Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software is required
