Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Management
o Oversee the design phase of construction projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client specifications
o Lead a team of designers, architects, and engineers to deliver innovative and cost-effective design solutions
o Co-ordination with Architect, Consultants and Liaison team for project design and approvals
o Prepare RERA & Sale Area Statement
2. Budgeting and Cost Estimation
o Prepare & finalize BOQ and Project Budget
o Track and control BOQ & Project Budget until project completion & maintenance
o Prepare monthly & quarterly budget tracking reports for the management
3. Drawings Co-ordination
o Co-ordinate with the project architect / consultants and issue GFC to the Engineering team for site execution
o Check and validate GFC to be sent to the site team against design, approval and costing parameters
o Check and validate customer modifications to be incorporated in GFC
o Providing revisions of GFC as per requirements
4. Tender, Orders & Billing
o Identify new & efficient vendors/contractors for project execution
o Issue tenders for contractors and vendors for project execution
o Prepare comparison statements for negotiation and finalize contractors / vendors for the projects
o Issuing WO / PO for the vendors / contractors with negotiated rates and terms and conditions as per standards
o Check bills against quantities, design and budget for final bill clearance
5. Project Schedule Management
o Develop comprehensive project schedules, incorporating design and budgeting milestones, to ensure timely completion of construction projects
o Implement effective tracking mechanisms to monitor progress against established timelines and identify potential delays by coordinating with site team & vendors/contractors
Ideal Qualification & Skills:
o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
o Professional certifications in project management, design, or budgeting will be an advantage
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
o Proven ability to recruit, train, and mentor team members
Overall Work Experience preferred:
o Overall experience of 15+ years within the construction industry, with a specific focus on design, budgeting, and project management
o Extensive experience of at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing the design phase of construction projects, managing budgets and timelines of construction projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?70,000.00 - ?100,000.00 per month
