Job Description


Leads and deliver on lifecycle processes in partnership with Cyclical Service Delivery leads ( eg promotion, performance, talent management , rewards etc)Key AccountabilitiesThe role holder will be responsible for:

  • Leads and deliver on lifecycle processes in partnership with Cyclical Service Delivery leads ( eg promotion, performance, talent management , rewards etc)
  • Proactively navigates through the relevant stakeholder matrix to solve complex queries , projects, change and transformations.
  • Be a senior collaborator across various HR TCs to solve for HR deliveries in the region as well as global D&A team.
  • This role will use consultancy skills to deliver best in class outcomes without extensive business context and in depth HR knowledge.
  • Builds credibility across D&A - both across the businesses and within the HR function, being seen as a proactive enabler with complex HR related matters
  • Work in partnership across the D&A team and wider HRTCs to translate business needs into best in class HR solutions
  • Collaborates across the D&A pillars and wider TCs to understand the opportunities for consistencies and efficiency across D&A and the wider HR function.
  • Ensures high standard delivery of agreed HR products and interventions to the business
  • Provides credible and relevant independent perspective on how the business is performing via a two-way dialogue that joins up broader views across Barclays
  • Promotes consistency across the HR function and is able to able to say no to the business and HR colleagues
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
  • The AVP D&A Partner will be working with senior leadership across HR and business and people leaders in the organization across various levels in organization hierarchy.
  • Act as an enabler and advisor to business stakeholders, using analytics and data led insight to shape the business strategy , people interventions and enable a high performance culture within the business/teams
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in context of continuous improvements of HR products and services.
Decision-making and Problem Solving
  • Be a motivated self-starter and able to navigate through change
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to present insightful data to influence decisions
  • Ability to drive innovation across a complex matrix organisation working with a number of stakeholders within HR
  • Drive organisational performance through employment of strategic analytics/tools and insights to shape business strategy and cost shape of the organisation
  • Builds trust through credible use of facts and data.
  • Ability to creatively resolve problems or issues independently and at pace.
Work with one the leading tech hubs of a global financial services organization|HR Business partnering across verticalsEssential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to present insightful data to influence decisions
  • Must hold relevant experience in HR domain across diversified businesses.
  • Proven track record of consistent high performance in HR domain.
  • MBA HR or equivalent education/certification.
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
  • The role holder will have a flexible, collaborative and adaptable style, using knowledge, data and experience to challenge and influence senior stakeholders across business entities and the wider HR function i.e. other TCs
  • Outstanding verbal and communication skills, with poise and confidence to interact and influence with all levels of management .
  • Good understanding of HR Technical expertise balanced by practical, pragmatic and solution orientated approach .
  • Good PPT, Excel and Analytics skills.
