Assist in developing policies and procedures for UWS GR globally. Manage quality investigation reports for the UWS GSC/ Business Area to meet established standards in the Service Level Agreement Work with the Head of UWS Operations support GSC to create a benchmark on quality, training & employee engagement. Performs job performance evaluations and human resources management for assigned direct reports/ virtual teams where applicable. Identifies and provides technical/ risk/regulatory training to direct reports and other members of the team. Establishes and maintains relationship with the Manager SPOC/ Site leads /VPOs to drive employee development/engagement. Identifies and coordinates utilization of external functions/resources to assist teams in completing assignments. Understand and manage employee engagement by building learning Calendar as well as engagement calendar across each of the UWS sites in GR and execute and deliver to plan. Process Reengineering Tracking, Reporting & Governance Review work of assigned Processing Executive(s) to ensure work is performed according to departmental policies and procedures and that complete documentation exists to support the Processing Executive\'s recommendation in the preliminary investigation report. Management of Risk To maintain HSBC internal and external control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators. To implement the Group Compliance Policy as applicable to your role in conjunction with the relevant Compliance Department.The term \'compliance\' embraces all relevant laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply within India and in relation to the countries migrating work to the assigned GSC. To be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with their role, and to ensure that all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk. Ensure the updates are signed off by all staff. Observation of Internal Controls Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators. Maintain and manage Information Security Risk, Data Protection, Security Risk and identify potential MSII, create an awareness of mandatory policies pertaining to the business. What additional skills will be good to have Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications B Graduate and/or master\'s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, related field, or equivalent experience. (Essential) Minimum of 2-5 years\' work experience in Credit/Risk/Compliance/ Fraud or allied roles in the financial services industry Excellent verbal and written communications skills with SMT and colleagues Working knowledge of leading large end to end project streamlining initiatives Has displayed planning and organizing experience within current role. Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and pressurized situations and to prioritize effectively. Communicate, envision, and implement plans translating into solid and practical delivery programs. Production management skills and ability to initiate process improvements. Command over various applications including MS Word, Excel and Power point applications. Six Sigma GB certified Has working knowledge of Robotics Process Automation Life Cycle Demonstrate ability to supervise, train and administer the work and development of assigned staff. Ability to effectively organize work schedules and manage multiple tasks by utilizing time management skills. Ability to work as an effective team member within the departments and company. Ability to be flexible and willing to change along with changes in corporate and department objectives in addition to recommending changes to assist in meeting these objectives.
