• CA or MBA (CFA/FRM added advantage)
• Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate credit analysis in a bank or related industry
• Ability to generate insights from data and information, assess the risk impact and recommend action
• Understanding of financial statements to enable appropriate interpretation of results
• Deep understanding of Corporate Lending products, Opportunity Assessment and Deal Structuring
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Conceptual thinking \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x93 find innovative ways to solve analytical problems
• Ability to deliver accurate results within tight deadlines

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with ability to translate insight into a coherent storyPurpose of the roleTo independently assess and make credit decisions for complex financing transactions within the LevFin, SLF, and Hedge Funds sectors, ensuring alignment with the bank's credit risk appetite and regulatory requirements and contribute to the development and implementation of credit risk policies and procedures for the Specialised Sector.Accountabilities

• Analysis of complex financial information and business models of LevFin, SLF, and Hedge Fund clients to assess their creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and potential risks.
• Monitoring of the performance of the LevFin, SLF, and Hedge Fund portfolio, identifying and reporting early warning signs of potential credit deterioration.
• Evaluation of the risk profile of each application considering factors like industry trends, borrower financials, collateral, and market conditions.
• Development and implementation of strategies to mitigate identified credit risks and optimise portfolio performance.

• Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
• Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
• Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
